We were supposed to come home today, but after spending an afternoon getting Ari’s stitches, we decided to extend our stay by one more day…and we sure made the most of it. More swimming in the pool followed by dinner and milkshakes at Downtown Disney. Ghiradelli’s milkshakes are delicious!! Kaden gave me a serious face, but he was enjoying his milkshake too.
We ended the day with a trip to the Magic Kingdom, we skipped the fireworks/parade to ride as many rides as we could. I decided to take Kaden and Asa on the racecars by myself since Ari is still too little. When we walked up to get on, the guy there told us we could go around twice so each of them could have a chance to drive. This sounded like a good idea, until I realized that neither of them could push the foot pedal…turns out the pedal is pretty stiff and takes quite a bit of effort to push down. Plus they needed help steering, which was somewhat awkward trying to sit between the boys, push the pedal, and steer just enough to keep us going! We rode on Buzz Lightyear, the people mover, It’s a Small World (where Ari made the funniest face!), and more! Lots of fun, we were sad to see the week end!
