Right outside our dining room window is a bush…and in that bush is a little nest. Unfortunately, the nest is positioned just so the inside of the nest can’t be seen unless you look at it from outside. We peeked, and there were 3 little eggs in the nest. A few days later, they hatched! The pictures are blurry because I didn’t want to get too close and wasn’t able to see the birds as I took the pictures. They started out pretty ugly but in less than a week, they had left the nest…and I missed that picture :( Most of the time they were in the nest alone, occasionally I saw the mother, and we saw the male cardinal the day they learned to fly.
