We spent another night in the hospital, but this time labor progressed and it was time to have a baby. You can tell from the picture above that epidurals are wonderful things, especially when they work. Shortly after 8 we started pushing, and the doctor came in and let Nate deliver the baby....what a neat way for our 3rd little guy to enter the world. Ari Lukas was born at 8:31 in the morning, weighing 7lbs and measuring about 48cm long. He made some grunting noises for a while, but was breathing comfortably and they let him stay with us for the entire transition (and our entire hospital stay!).
