Kaden says...

At MOPS the other day, the older kids made binoculars to look at God's world. They attached two toilet paper rolls together and attached a string to wear them around their necks and then they decorated them. So I picked Kaden up and asked him what he made..."bee-noculars!" He's still calling them that, it's too cute to teach him the right way!

He's also not quite clear on numbers after 9. He can count up into the teens, but when he sees them written it gets confusing, so the number 10 is "one-zero," the number 11 is "one-one," and so on. Well this makes finding the songs in the hymnbook at church interesting. He wasn't too happy today when the pastor said to turn to page 12, he said "daddy it's page "one-two." And bigger numbers, well they follow the same rule, number 395 is "three-nine-five."

Kaden is doing better and better at recognizing letters, he can spell his name and Asa's name. But if we are looking at a book or menu or some other paper, he still prefers to find only the letters in his name!
