We went to visit a corn maze with some friends today. It was pretty far from where we live, we passed farms, fields full of cotton and signs that with pictures indicating to watch out for tractors. At the farm where the maze was were lots of other activities as you can see in the collage (click on the collage to make it bigger)! Kaden had fun playing on the playground, and the boys got to play in a whole bunch of dried corn!! Ari slept through the whole trip! The maze itself was okay, it looked neat from the aerial pictures, but you couldn't tell the design when you were walking around. Plus it was extremely dry and dusty, our legs, feet and shoes were coated with brown dust by the end! As we came out of the maze, the boys rang the bell to say that we had found our way out! The boys got to ride on ponies, Asa Jack wasn't too sure at first, but he ended up enjoying it! Kaden tried out shooting the corn cannon, but it was loud and scary! We also went on a hayride and Kaden got to ride the cow "train." There were barrels with wheels and openings cut out so that you could sit inside of them (and they were painted like cows!), and then a golf cart pulled the train around pretty fast. Kaden had a blast!
