Valentine’s Day happened to fall on one of the days that Kaden goes to Classical Conversations, he was so excited to bring Valentine’s to his friends. We picked out superhero tootsie roll pops which came out really cute! He enjoyed giving them out and then getting some Valentine’s, his favorites were the Toy Story ones, which he and Asa carried around that afternoon pretending the little piece of paper was all sorts of things (a phone, a computer, etc.)
After CC, we decided to head out to lunch, Kaden picked the BBQ restaurant downtown. Some men commented that I was brave to take the three out by myself, but they did great. It helped that I ordered the second we sat down and that we had a very good waitress, who even gave the boys a Valentine’s card.
Since the weather was so nice, we followed up lunch with a walk and a stop to by chocolates for Nate.
That evening when Nate came home from work, the boys opened some Valentine’s Day presents…fun coloring books, robot magnets, a monster “paper doll” set, puzzles, as well as a musical toy and clothes for Ari (who must have been sleeping when we took these!).
