We celebrated Kaden’s birthday with a party at the park on a Monday morning, hoping it would be less crowded, although it was just the best time with Nate’s work schedule (and it wasn’t as empty as I wanted because of school spring break, but it wasn’t too bad). For a while everyone played on the playground or around the picnic table, there was also a little bit of chalk drawing, bubble blowing, and cup tower building. For food we had goldfish, raisins, fruit salad, and bagels….for birthday fun, we had cake pops (funfetti cake with a blue coating and chocolate cake with a peanut butter coating) and we had cookie dough cupcakes that were delicious! It was really windy, so we ended pretending to light and blow out the candle…it just wouldn’t stay lit!! Kaden had a great time and was really excited about his new legos!
