Easter morning we got up early, this was the first time our new church was going to meet in the morning, and we wanted to do Easter baskets before leaving. Kaden had so much fun with his basket, the little star wars lego guys that I almost didn’t put in were his favorite. He told me later that he had cool toys in his basket, and has been playing with the bunny and the frog a whole lot. He also had a puzzle, a lego Easter basket, gum, a little imaginext toy, a new book, and a shirt.
Asa Jack’s basket was very similar…he had a stuffed pig (Kaden picked it!), a stuffed little bunny, star wars figures, an imaginext toy, gum, a shirt, and a book. But instead of a puzzle and legos, he found a light-up beachball! Ari’s Easter basket had to be different, since he can’t chew gum or play with star wars figures! He did get a matching shirt and a book, but also a dragon toy, a stuffed bug, magnetic bug stackers, a wooden duck, and sunglasses!
We made a few attempts at nice family pictures, but quit when we realized we were going to be late to church…
Later on, after a really great church service, we went to our church picnic at a park by the water, such a beautiful day! We didn’t eat too much, because from there we headed to one of our favorite restaurants for brunch. Sadly they didn’t have the buffet this year like they did last year, but the food was still really good, and you could order similar items off the menu. I got an order of creamed spinach, Ari loved it! Before heading home, we tried taking some pictures in the park, this lady tried to take some of our whole family, she looked like she kept taking pictures and was very friendly, if not a little odd…turns out she only got 2 pictures and neither were good!
