Creative Discovery Museum

For todays fun activity, we took the boys to the Creative Discovery Museum with Katie, Joel, and Tessa.  The boys had so much fun playing in the water area, digging for dino bones, building towers out of cups, doing puzzles..wish we had something like this by where we live!  (We did go to a kid’s museum in Mobile once, but when we went 98% of the exhibits were broken, I understand that it’s been good in the past, so we’ll eventually give it another try!)

Here’s some dinosaur pictures…the outfits were cute, but the big hat on Asa Jack’s head was the best!

We also took a look at the animals…insects, snakes.  There was a lady with some sort of a roach that the kids got to pet, and then everyone walked away and she continued to talk to me about roaches and scorpions and snakes for what seemed like forever, she must not have noticed that I intentionally turned my back to the snake cage!

There were different activities throughout the afternoon, I thought this one was great…the kids built towers out of plastic cups, maybe will be something we try at home on a rainy day.

Then we ended the day in the little house area before we headed back to rest and meet up with the older cousins for dinner.
