We started the day with blueberry pancakes, and learned that turning the stove hotter when you mean to turn it down leads to burned pancakes...oh well, most of them survived!
Then we made red velvet cake balls, they looked a little funny, but they were very rich and delicious! After that we headed into Pensacola to a friend's house on the park where there were lots of bouncy things for the kids along with ponies to pet and sit on.
Asa Jack was still too little (although if you look back at last July 4th, we were at the same place and he has grown a whole lot!) but he did get to bounce on the edge a little and went down the slide with his daddy.
Here's Kaden going down the slide, such a big boy to climb up all by himself. He had a blast and went on it again and again!
