On Easter morning, after the boys were dressed in their matching outfits, they set about discovering what was in their Easter baskets. There were books Marshmallow for Asa Jack and Duck and Goose – Here Comes the Easter Bunny for Ari. Kaden’s was named Stuck, which was funny to all of us because it’s a word that Ari’s been using a lot lately (in his car seat, when he’s being held and wants to get down!). They also found pool toys, legos and lego figures, wooden blocks, but not candy, maybe next year! (We did have Easter candy, it just didn’t go in the baskets.)
After church, we went to a nearby park for a picnic with our church family. It turned out to be pretty nice outside by the water, and the boys had fun on the playground with their friends.
In the evening, we had a little Easter egg hunt. I hid the eggs upstairs, although I left a good number on the ground in plain sight for Ari. All three boys were so excited when they came upstairs! Ari figured out very quickly that the eggs had M&M’s in them, he had a blast!
